It turns out Despacito is a lot more than the song of the summer.

Luis Fonsi’s ubiquitous hit single – featuring Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber on the remix – has achieved another musical milestone, as it tied Mariah Carey’s 16-week record for One Sweet Day at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart, Billboard announced Monday.

Fonsi’s song and Carey’s duet with Boyz II Men, One Sweet Day – which reigned at the top spot in 1995 and 1996 – are the longest-running No. 1 songs in the 59-year history of the charts.
