Decongestant spray for a blocked nose can be used for up to a maximum of seven days.  If you use it for longer, it can cause rebound congestion problems.

This means that although it may relieve the symptoms while you’re using it, when you stop, the body’s reaction to this can make the symptoms much worse.

Always use as directed.

Cold defence sprays works by trapping and inactivating the virus in the nose to stop a cold developing.

Start using the spray at the first sign of cold symptoms and continue until a couple of days after symptoms have subsided.

Never share your cold defence spray with your family – or any other medicines for that matter – as it can lead to cross infection.
