BMW has officially unveiled the all-new X2, which will go on sale in March 2018.
The latest member of BMW’s ever expanding X family of crossovers slots above the X1 to appeal to buyers who want a sportier alternative to the compact SUV. Like the X4 is to the X3, the X2 is essentially the X1’s more stylish sibling, sporting a raked roofline and four-doors.
Competing against the Mercedes-Benz GLA and recently launched Audi Q2, the BMW X2 is shares its powertrain line-up with the X1 compact SUV. This means a mix of 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines with front- and all-wheel-drive configuration.
