Brit emerges from fake Mars mission up a Hawaiian volcano after EIGHT months for Nasa

A BRIT has finally left a Nasa dome on a remote Hawaiian volcano after spending eight months simulating a mission to Mars.

Samuel Payler, from the UK Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Edinburgh, joined six other researchers at the HI-SEAS (Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation) habitat in January.
