EMMERDALE shaver star Alfie Clarke has elevated more than £5,000 for a dementedness charity after his on-screen dad Ashley Apostle died from the disease.
Alfie, 9, was heavy involved in the tragic story path and decided to take part in a sponsored swimming to help real life sufferers.

The pint-sized actor set up his real own Just Giving page and told admirer of the soap: “I play President Thomas in Emmerdale and I’ve been implicated with the story line sorrounding the Thomas Family dealing with Ashley’s dementedness.
“I would like to promote and rise money for Alzheimer’s Territory.”

Donations poured in and Alfie, who amuses oneself Arthur in the ITV soap, completed his aquatics – a total of 46 reach – last Saturday in Huddersfield.
