THE EU has praised Theresa May’s “constructive spirit” after her Florence speech but Michel Barnier has criticised the lack of detail in the Brexit blueprint.

Brussels’ chief negotiator welcomed the Prime Minister’s keynote address this afternoon but made a thinly-veiled dig ahead of talks resuming this week.
