MINISTERS may have made it EASIER for people traffickers to smuggle kids into Britain by expanding e-gates – an official has claimed.

David Bolt, the chief inspector of borders and immigration, said he was worried the decision to allow 12 to 17 year-olds to use the fast-track passport checks meant border guards weren’t able to spot “vulnerable” kids.
