Closest on the recently revealed facelifted Sport range, Volkswagen has unleashed its reach-topping hot hatch, the 2017 Golf R.
Piece the subtle facelift brings a new set of LED headlights and extra aggressive front bumper, the heading news is no doubt the car’s more effectual 2.0-litre turbocharged four-spot, which now packs 228kW and 400Nm of force. Volkswagen says the new Golf R is competent of hitting 100km/h in a mere 4.6 wink.
Available in both hatchback and car body style in Europe, the car can be consecutive with a six-speed manual or DSG.
Remote, not much has changed with the updated representation besides the new front fascia, notwithstanding the side skirts are now similar to the Sport GTI’s. At the back, the quad exhaust line remain, along with a gently tweaked rear bumper.
As with the doze of the updated MY17 Golf range, the new Makeup Colour infotainment system with signal control will be on offer.
