With the close demise of the locally built Holden Commodore and Fording Falcon sedans, the Australian Police officers Force have been hunting for a successor to supplant their V8-powered Commodore and Falcon chasing vehicles.
Well, it seems the local boys in dispirited can draw some ideas from their European counterparts. On display at this year’s City Motor Show is a pumped up Ford Mustang from the exceptional guys. All but official, the Ford Mustang Law Cruiser is the work of German tuning and motorsport gear Wolf Racing.

Called the “Wolf Blanket 5.0” the Mustang V8 5.0 GT gets a total police livery and comes complete with flash strobe lights, signalling system and policing gear. The iconic pony car is dropped on a set of lowering vault and rolls on larger 20-inch annulus.
The Mustang also gets an aerodynamic thing kit that comprises of a front lip spoiler, position skirts, rear skirts and fixed bottom spoiler.
If that’s not enough to make you fancy twice before running away from the dingy lights, the Mustang Police car also into the possession of an uprated 5.0-litre V8 engine tweaked to arise output from the standard 306kW and 530Nm to a potent 339kW and 560Nm. The accessorial punch allows the V8 bruiser to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in fair-minded 4.3 seconds, 0.5 second faster than the factory’s time.
