A “POTENTIALLY hazardous” asteroid measuring three miles in diameter is set to fly past Earth this weekend, NASA has confirmed.

The colossal space rock, named 3200 Phaethon after a reckless Greek god, is the third-largest of its kind on record to fly by our planet.
