The communications app is rumoured to be preparing to introduce the ability to "unsend" messages after they've been sent.

Sadly, it's not available yet but rumours about this face-saving feature have been circulating for months and it looks as if it will finally be rolled out very soon.

The Twitter account WABetaInfo, which shares details of unreleased WhatsApp features, claimed you'll soon be able to "Delete for Everyone" after sending a message.

This feature would be amazing for anyone prone to sending drunken messages.

It claimed the unsend capability will be introduced in the software soon but didn't say which version of the software.

“WhatsApp is finally testing the Delete for Everyone feature: the server finally works and it successfully recalls the message,” said WABetaInfo.
