‘I slept on the subway!’ X Men’s Taylor Kitsch on being homeless while he waited for his big break

Today he’s a successful actor, starring in shows such as true Detective and X-Men.

But when 36-year-old Taylor Kitsch first made the move from Canada to the U.S., he was homeless – sleeping on the New York subway at night.

Speaking about the experience at the American Assassin premiere in New York last week he told Us Weekly: ‘It was a blue train from downtown all the way up to 182nd and at night they’d change, they’d take longer, A, C or E.’
