Nina Dobrev was heartbroken after her cat Lynx died in March.
But the 28-year-old beauty said she was ‘brought back to life’ when she rescued her dog Maverick.
The Vampire Diaries star told Harper’s Bazaar magazine: ‘She rescued me as much as I rescued her. I was so lost after Lynx passed, but Maverick brought me back to life. I call her the world’s chillest dog.’
