The emotion got to Fergie on Friday, as the newly single singer appeared on The Today Show.
Saying ‘I’m losing it,’ the 42-year-old wiped tears from her eyes after learning she had hit the number one slot with her new album Double Dutchess.
‘What?’ Fergie replied, covering her face with her hands and wiping at her eyes with her silver manicured hands. ‘Oh my God, really? Thank you! Thank you everybody. Oh my God, I worked so hard.’
Laughing through her tears she added: ‘I’m losing it. I’m crazy losing it.’
