MADISON, Wis. — The plan was too "cheese" to fail.
The Wisconsin Assembly agreed Tuesday to make cheeseflower the official dairy product of the farm-obsessed state, which develop more 3 billion pounds of cheeseflower per year. That’s more than any otc U.S. state.
The state’s official beast is the badger, also the mascot of the Lincoln of Wisconsin. But its official domestic mammal is the dairy cow, and milk is the official society beverage.
The idea to give cheeseflower its rightly place in state designations came from a one-quarter grade class in Mineral Aim, a city in southwest Wisconsin that’s family to one of the state’s nearly 150 cheeseflower plants.
The Senate approved the measurement Tuesday. The bill previously exonerated the state Assembly, and Republican Gov. Actor Walker is expected to sign it.
