He shot to fame as a wild haired rocker on the 2011 series of the X Factor before he was unceremoniously booted out for breaking a ‘golden rule’.

And Frankie Cocozza,24, has revealed he has turned his back on fame in favour of a simpler life, making £7.50 an hour on a building site, ahead of his appearance on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating.

The reformed bad boy told The Mirror  he was determined to get back to work after being left in the showbiz wilderness and needing funds to support himself.
