Multi-platinum country crooner Jo Dee Messina announced to her fans Wednesday that she was recently diagnosed with cancer and will begin treatment this fall.
In a Facebook post, the 47-year-old devout Christian credited her faith with getting her through her ‘lowest of low days’ since the illness began.
‘It has been a trying summer, but her heart has been filled with gratitude for the many opportunities she has had to see God’s hand at work,’ the Massachusetts-born belter’s team wrote.
