On Thursday, James Van Der Beek made his first public appearance since revealing he’d been the victim of sexual assault by more than one movie executive when he was just starting out.
A week ago, in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, the former Dawson’s Creek star tweeted that he has ‘had [his] ass grabbed by older, powerful men.’
But the actor, 40, was all smiles as he arrived for the Television Game Changers Panel at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills.
