JEAN-CLAUDE Juncker rubbished a German newspaper’s vicious attack on “tormented” Theresa May to insist British PMs never beg.
Delivering a rare boost to the PM from him, the federalist EU Commission boss insisted Mrs May on the contrary was “in good shape” when they met for a crunch dinner last week, adding that pleading was “not the style of British Prime Ministers”.
