Corbyn is hoping to capitalise on the many own goals scored by the government in the past week after they were forced into cabinet substitutions.

Michael Fallon resigned as Defence Secretary last week after being caught offside, while Priti Patel was red carded following her misdemeanours with Israeli politicians.

Theresa May will be hoping that her new signings Penny Mourdant and Gavin Williamson will give her a much-needed boost as she hopes to gain some extra time on her leadership.

Meanwhile Corbyn will be hoping to score political points following the Tories’ string of gaffes.
