JOHN McDonnell took aim at a “Tory Government teleported from the 18th century” as well as the City and the media in his Labour conference speech this lunchtime.

The Shadow Chancellor used the stage at Brighton to have a pop at the Tories as he unveiled a new policy to scrap private contracts for public projects if Jeremy Corbyn gets into Number 10.
