Microsoft has tired a large part of this year focussing on its bot efforts within Skype. While a numeral of new messaging bots like Expedia and UPS are turn to appear in Skype, Microsoft has bigger scheme for next year, The Verge reveals.
“Soon our associate will be able to create talking bots with the broad availability of the Skype calling API,” says a Skype voice. “That means users will be capable to interact with bots that can de facto speak to you.”
The talking bots will reserve companies to create services that shout and interact with users, and it’s possible that Skype could evening provide its real-time translation supply to these bots in the future. Microsoft is furthermore planning to allow bots to interact with recording, audio, and even GIFs in chat discussion, but the talking bots feature will be the key new summation next year.
