THE GOVERNMENT is failing acid attack victims by refusing to introduce new laws to crack down on the vicious assaults, an MP has told The Sun.

Campaigning Stephen Timms wants to make it illegal to carry acid on the streets in a bid to end a spate of horrific attacks which have left dozens of people disfigured.
