ONS This graph shows the recent decline in net migration to Britain
Figures published by the Office for National Statistics today showed that net migration was 230,000 in the 12 months to the end of June this year.
That is down from its record high of 336,000 in the year before.
But it is still well above the Government's target of slashing net migration below 100,000 a year.
Experts said the fall in migration was partly down to Brexit, with rules on Europeans living in Britain likely to get tighter in the future.
