A PLAN to give pensioners wifi in a council’s care homes has been shelved — over fears they might use it to watch porn.

Elderly residents in 25 care units were to get internet access as part of a drive to encourage them to go online. But a Brighton Council boss said there were worries the OAPs might access “inappropriate material”.
