The report is set to say that Pakistani women have had trouble integrating with Britain

Theresa May, who commissioned the research, said last week it would make "uncomfortable reading".

Last week she laid bare the nation’s race divide by revealing black and ethnic minority Brits are almost twice as likely to be unemployed.

The PM said it was time to confront the “uncomfortable truth” about society as a race audit also showed white Brits were far more likely to own a home or be a headteacher in a school.

A source told the Sunday Times: "It’s very shocking.
