Hot on the rind of unveiling the updated 2018 Mustang coupe, Crossing has released the first images of its drop-off-top sibling today.
As it appears in the facing quarter view image, the fa‡ade of the new facelifted Mustang Convertible obtains the same visual updates as the coupe. These include a new drop bonnet with air vents, a wider grate, revised all-LED headlights, and a restyled strawman bumper with larger heart air intake.
While we don’t get to see the rear of the car equitable yet, from the coupe we know the back part of the convertible will also be updated with revised LED taillamps and a new bumper with redesigned baffle. We are not too sure, however, that if the elective fixed rear spoiler at one’s disposal for the GT coupe will also be offered for the translatable.
Just like the coupe, duple-tip exhaust will be standard for EcoBoost history, while V8-powered GT will get quad-tip beat as standard.
It’s not all just a styling apply as we expect the Convertible to also feature the updated mechanism announced for the coupe.
