Seth Meyers is closing in on a deal to host the 2018 Golden Globes.
The NBC Late Night show host will be stepping out from behind the desk to emcee the Hollywood Foreign Press Association awards show scheduled for January 7.
The 43-year-old comedian will take the reigns after celebrities such as Ellen DeGeneres and Tina Fey declined offers according to a Monday report from Variety.
