And the next day the 25-year-old star looked understandably downcast as she held her beloved puppy Charlie on the set of the new Woody Allen movie in New York City.
The former Disney star, whose father is Mexican and who has admitted during a 2013 interview that she wants to get more in touch with her Mexican roots, was shocked to hear of the devastation in central Mexico that has so far claimed at least 248 lives.
