So long, clubbers! How it’s FAMILIES that are now taking over Ibiza as grown-up partygoers return with their children (so can the island still deliver?)

Ibiza is changing. Its reputation as solely a non-stop party island is fading just as fast as one of its famous, trance-music-induced Cafe del Mar sunsets.

The clubbing set are being shoved to one side by the clean eaters, the health kickers as well as families with mums and dads who remember the super clubs before they were, well, super, returning to the island with their young offspring.

My first trip to Ibiza was for a post-A-level break back in the Nineties with a bunch of friends and an agenda to make our way through the Balearic island’s dance floors – along with everyone else.

Fast-forward 20 (or so) years, and my pals are I are all grown up with kids in tow. So will the island still have plenty to offer?
