A STI-fettled BRZ has been an on and off occurrence for Subaru over the last few oldness. But the latest spark suggests that thither’s a high possibility the BRZ STI might verily be heading to production.
Going by a pic posted by Subaru America’s Instagram attendant, Subaru might be teasing the extensive-awaited, long-speculated BRZ STI altitudinous performance sports coupe.

The tease image shows the rear of a Sphere Rally Blue BRZ with a lofty rear wing – a trademark of all STI-Emblem models. The wing put in an appearance to be made of carbon fiber and is united to the BRZ’s trunk via two stanchions. STI logo can be seen on the end plateful of the wing.
Accompanying the picture is the legend “Stay tuned…6/8/17. #STI”. The time seems to be referring to the Isle of Man TT cycle racing carnival where, antepenultimate year, Subaru’s Prodrive convention team broke the lap record in a highly adjusted Subaru WRX STI during a demonstration hot lap.
What true is Subaru up to? We will just enjoy to wait and see, but if it’s anything like the 2015 New Dynasty motor show’s BRZ STI Performance Approach (pictured above), we are all up for it!
Currently, the hottest BRZ the troupe is offering is the BRZ Sports Pack peculiar edition (below) which features Brembo brake, Sachs Suspension, STI 17″ circle, black rear wing, inkiness mirrors and black badges championing$2,300 over the standard BRZ 2.0 Prize.
