The sponsor is often the subject of viewer empathy as Piers hardly lets her get a discussion in edgeways and is regularly seen twisting as he airs controversial views.

But this dawn Susanna dropped the biggest intimation to how she really feels about him afterwards Piers launched into a Facebook harangue.
He said: “I get annoyed when humans start banging on about civics on Facebook, it really annoys me. I’ve had to unfriend next of kin members.
“I can’t… please, I need any respite. Can’t you just put a picture of your niggling kid having an ice cream or doing a dollar?”

And as Place went off on one, Susanna looked displeased and leant her chin on her hand as newscaster Charlotte Hawkins laughed wittingly.
“I know exactly what you think,” she said.
“When someone due keeps going on and on and on and on and you just bid you could defriend them, but you’re equal forced every day to listen to their prospect. I know exactly how you feel.”
