Theresa May’s Brexit truce could fall apart after Leavers are told concessions to Brussels were ‘meaningless’

THERESA May’s Brexit peace may be hanging by a thread after claims emerged today a Downing Street aide told Boris Johnson and Michael Gove that the key concession to Europe was “meaningless”.

A prominent Eurosceptic told The Sunday Telegraph that No 10 had said a commitment to “full alignment” between Britain and the EU “doesn’t mean anything in EU law”.
