Chip and Joanna Gaines shocked fans when they announced in September they would be ending their show Fixer Upper.

On Wednesday it was claimed they pulled out of the hit series out of security fears as the HGTV show posed a security risk against their children, according to Us Weekly.

The pair were increasing worried about keeping their four kids — Drake, 12, Ella, 10, Duke, nine, and Emmie, seven — out of the spotlight, it was alleged.
