But Suranne Jones, who plays Gemma Foster in the hit ITV series, has revealed she wasn’t always so body confident and explained the effect school bullies had on her – even admitting to making herself sick once out of desperation.
In a candid interview, the star of the psychological drama – who won a BAFTA for her performance in the drama’s first series – opened up about how ultimately, the anger she felt at the bullies actually helped to fuel her successful acting career.
