‘When I won my Oscar, I was not in a great place in my life’: Nicole Kidman on why double Emmy win was more meaningful than her Best Actress Academy Award

She’s got both an Oscar and two Emmys under her belt, as well as a whole host of other coveted awards.

But Nicole Kidman made the surprising confession that bagging a double Emmy win in September for her role in Big Little Lies was more meaningful than her Academy Award for The Hours back in 2002 because she was in a better place in life.

The actress, 50, told The Late Show host Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night that she was happy to share her recent success with her husband Keith Urban, 50, and their daughters, Sunday Rose, nine and Faith, six.
